February 23, 2009

For the past 13 years, I have divided my professional time between teaching, photography, and painting.  My photography business has shown strong growth in recent years and has required that I devote an ever-increasing amount of time to it, which has led me to a fork in the road.

I have decided to choose the path of pursuing my arts full time.  I feel blessed to have worked with the wonderful administration, staff, and families of St. Helen Parish and School.  I will especially miss the smiles and energy of the fantastic students of St. Helen.  You will always have a special place in my heart, and I’ll enjoy seeing all of you at Mass.

I have not ruled out a return to teaching in some capacity in the future.  To that end, I would appreciate it if you could write a letter of recommendation for me to use down the road.  Any observations you feel compelled to put down will be appreciated.

You can mail them to:

Thank you for all that you have done for me and that I have been allowed to do for the students at St. Helen.  Please keep in touch.

Blessings to you and yours,

Todd

UPDATE: 3-4-09

I've been told that they will be filling the Art Teacher position next year, so that's great news.
