First rule: NO TRACING!  I'm not going to argue
about it.  If it's too perfect, with no signs of the
struggle of creation, you can bet I'll be knocking
serious points off.  This holds especially true for
8th grade master copies.  I expect you to try hard.
I don't expect you to be perfect.

Drawing Assignments are to be turned in on the
dates indicated.  Late work will receive a 10 point
penalty.  Drawings will be graded on the use of:

-DETAILS  Show me all the little details you possibly can.

-SHADING  Show the shift from light to dark.  This does not mean coloring!

-COMPOSITION  I want to see more than one object.  What's in the foreground, middle ground, and background?

-CREATIVITY  Do something interesting.  Don't just draw the object hovering in a white background.

-EFFORT  The most important.  I want to see you trying.  I want to see improvement.
